Best Kalbi has down pricey but worth it been going here since I was a kids . You also gotta try the fried rice

Best meat jun on the island by a mile. Been coming here for over a decade & never been let down by their food. A couple weeks ago I splurged and got the big bone kalbi. WINNAAHHHZ. My son proclaimed it the best he's ever had. His favorite food is rice w/ shoyu on it, but i agree w/ him on this one. FYI - takeout only after COVID.

Food is good and on point, we ordered the meat Jun and Lunch special and it was amazing when I Hawaii try young's you'll like it. Be warned it is take out only..

One our co-workers offers to pick up lunch from this place, close to his residence. Most of us opt for the Lunch Special ($19.16) while another usually gets the Fish Jun ($21.26). To me the lunch special is the best value ... You get a layer of meat jun, three pieces of BBQ Chicken, and a fried mandoo over a bed of rice. You also get ban chan (seaweed, bean sprouts) and a container of kimchi. The meat jun is tender and the chicken is moist. The fried mandoo ... Well ... I can never finish this plate and it ends up being two meals for me. When you think of it in those terms, it becomes a "value play" ... $9.58 per meal. Where else can you get a meal for less than $10 these days? Recommended!

This place has the best Meat Jun hands down. Family ran and owned. This place hits the spot every time we go here for lunch. Their Lunch Special is hands down the best deal around. The only thing I would recommend is calling in your order way ahead of time. Sometimes the wait is long because of the huge orders, but that's because it's so popular.

Young's Kal Bee, located in Aiea, is renowned for its delicious Korean barbecue dishes. It's often praised for its flavorful meats and friendly mom and pop service. Many locals consider it one of the best spots for their Korean meat jun. Definitely, a must try in my book! What makes their meat jun so good. It's their thinly sliced "marinated" beef that's coated in egg and flour before being pan-fried to perfection. Their rendition of meat jun is often praised for its tenderness, but the super rich flavor makes it a favorite among patrons. Enjoy!

Go-to neighborhood spot for loaded Korean plates. Take out only and closed on Monday and Tuesday! The meat Jun is well marinated, tender, and fresh. The meat Jun sauce is flavorful and worth getting an extra one if you like it saucy. First time trying the bi bim bap and it had so many fixings. The kim chee and banchan sides are standard but reliable and fresh. One plate can easily feed 2!

Take out only. Advise you call ahead of time as there's always usually a nice line. Order at door and no chairs to sit and wait. It's what you'd expect for a Korean take out spot. They are known for their meat Jun. it does not disappoint. They do not disappoint on taste nor quantity. You don't even need to dip in the sauce but it gives it that extra kick.

I don't know how I've never written a review for this place! I've been here many times over the years. For a little while so often that the lady who works the counter recognized me. I always get the meat jun from here, to me it's like one of the best ones on the island! They give very good portions and the sauce is different from anywhere else you'd go. It isn't like a super liquidy sauce, it's a little bit on the thicker side. which helps it stick to the meat jun really well. The gyoza is like super thick boys and full of filling! After covid they only do take out which is a little bit of a shame, i liked sitting down and getting all the sides that come with ordering korean food. Now it's just kim chee. I always try to call ahead for my orders so that I don't have to wait too long, tho there have been times where even after i've called in my order i still had to wait just because there were so many other people there picking up food too!
